The RC-85 remote control module - when installed in a car allows you to operate the system or to activate different equipment (garage door opener, lights, door bell etc.). It can also be used to report an alarm from a car alarm. It is powered by 12V DC in the car.
The transmitter is not continuously powered and only transmits a signal right after being connected to the power supply. It can be configured whether a signal is sent instantly or only after two applications of the power supply within 2 seconds.
